Tanzania Peaberry – Dark Roast

Tanzania is a beautiful East African coastal nation with great diversity of landscape, language and culture. In the forested northeast is Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain. Parts of three of Africa’s Great Lakes lie within Tanzania and also the Serengeti plain. The coffee production in the north is mostly on large estates that are experimenting with new processes. In the south are a multitude of small producers. Schools in the south are actively encouraging youth to stay in coffee production by offering classes and giving students 50-100 coffee trees to care for. Students are enthusiastic and there’s great potential for further development. We’re excited to see more great coffee from this country.
